I had this pattern saved and wanted so much to bring it to life with some colored flosses. I just love stitcher' sets. I decided to join the two passions and create something to a nice friend. My finalizing skills aren't good enough to create those astonishing sets that I see in french blogs, but I really wanted to give a friend a small set of things that I already know how to finish reasonably well. I love to give presents, and even more to my friends.
So last week, with a plastic screen which was missing in the city where she lives, I mailed the above to Tammy, who is a sweet girl who is the beautiful embroidery and shares patterns with her readers. I tryed to create something practical, with a small pocket to keep the scissors and a ring with two running stitch organisers. I also wanted to personalize it, so I stitched a letter "T", her initial, in the back side of the scissor's fob.
She is so sweet that I have stitched objects with shades of pink, and she liked them, even if she prefers red shades. I was touched by the message written to me, thanking me for the little gift and the post she made to show the objects, including the small crystal organza bag (if you want to see it, pay a visit to Tammy's) that I sewed for store them better.
Tammy it is such a pleasure to make little things to surprise you. And, be sure, you deserve more than that.
