Ainda na série "tantos presentes, ai, como é chato ser amada", posso lhes dizer que uma das melhores coisas que há sobre trabalhar em casa é que podemos fazer nossos horários de pausa. Em um dos dias frios de inverno, ainda, há algumas semanas, esta foi a mesa de chá da tarde que me dei de presente em mais uma dessas pausas. Bem, digo que eu me dei de presente, mas todo o trabalho foi da Popola. Foi ela quem, docemente, enviou-me esses biscoitos italianos maravilhosos, feitos por ela mesma, na lata vermelha que aparece ao fundo. Gostaram da lata? Bem, foi ela quem a pintou também. Enviou-me tudo com uma cartinha (somente para meus olhos, como no 007). Tudo lindo de se ver... e de se saborear! Hmmmm...
A receita dos biscoitinhos? Eu não a tenho. Pops, como eu a chamo, ficou de enviá-la a mim dia desses. Talvez com esta postagem, ela se anime e a publique lá no Dicas de Popola para nós. Só posso lhes adiantar que vale a pena guardar e tentar a receita em casa. Pops morou na Itália durante alguns anos e imagino que tenha aprendido a fazer biscotti lá. Chique, não é? Meu café da tarde, com louça e chá inglês, teve biscoitos italianos made in Brazil, com exclusividade, enviados por uma amiga tão doce quanto eles! Hmmmmm...

Still as a part of the series "so many gifts, oh, how boring is to be loved," I can tell you that one of the best things about working at home is that we can make our break anytime we feel in mood to do it. On one of the cold winter evenings, a few weeks ago, this was the tea-table I gave as a gift to myself in one of those breaks. Well, I say that I gave to myself, but Popola deserves all the credit for it. She was the one, who, sweetly, sent me these wonderful Italian cookies, made by herself, in the red can that appears in the background. Liked the can? Well, it was she who painted it too. She sent me everything with a short letter (for my eyes only, as in 007). Everything beautiful to see, to read... and to taste! Yummy...
So, do you want the biscotti's recipe? I do not have it. Pops, as I call her, told me that she would send it to me. Maybe with this post, she gets the mood and post at her Dicas de Popola for us.
